What is Pay Per Click (PPC)?

An advertising process by which owners of online businesses try to attract inexpensive and focused traffic to their websites – that is precisely what Pay Per Click (PPC) is.

A Pay Per Click search engine, such as Google Adwords, accepts bids from advertisers on search result phrases and words. If your bid is the highest among advertisers, you can expect your Pay Per Click ads at the top right hand side of the results page, known as the “Sponsored Links” area, for the search word or phrase for which you have bid.
